The Dandelion Honey Pastry Chef Challenge is our annual celebration to raise awareness of bees and honor our past, present and future of advocacy through our Healthy Bees, Healthy Lives campaign.

Join us on Wednesday, April 22nd for amazing food, music, celebrity judges, words from Dr. Marla Spivak and a new call to action for Healthy Bees, Healthy Lives.


Pastry Chef Challenge_ƒ

This years theme is WE NEED BEES, BEES NEED FLOWERSBees need a complete diet of nectar and pollen to be healthy.  Last years event had too much nectar and not enough pollen so this year we are excited to add a “pollen” option to our menu.
Participating “nectar collectors ” competing with dandelion honey sweets and our generous sponsors hauling “pollen baskets”  of savories are listed below…
“Nectar Collectors”:  Lucia’s, Restaurant Alma, Gigi’s,  Mademoiselle Miel, Seward Co-op Bakery Department, Urban Oasis, Open Arms, and Abby Boone (of Salty Tart and Cafe 128) and Ann Bridges (of DiSHt)
